Better value, same standards

Real savings on safaris usually come from timing, group size and early booking rather than discount codes. Here’s how we help you get the best value.

2026 offers

Real savings available now

These are official park-authority offers, not marketing discounts. We apply them automatically when your dates qualify.

Uganda gorilla permits: US$600

In April, May and November 2026 Uganda’s gorilla permit drops from US$800 to US$600 per person, a US$200 saving. Low-season permits are for fixed dates and cannot be rescheduled.

Rwanda gorilla permits: 30% off

Deal questions

Are there real discounts on gorilla permits?

Yes, in 2026: Uganda’s low-season gorilla permit costs US$600 instead of US$800 in April, May and November (fixed dates). Rwanda offers 30% off its US$1,500 permit from November to May when combined with stays in Nyungwe or Akagera.

Is a last-minute safari cheaper?

Not always. Permits and good lodges can sell out, so last-minute trips are about what’s available rather than lower prices.

How much do groups save?

Sharing a vehicle and guide spreads the biggest fixed cost, so groups of four or more pay noticeably less per person.
