Wilderness Mara is a luxury camp in the Mara Triangle, the western part of the Masai Mara managed by the Mara Conservancy. It is the completely rebuilt former Little Governors’ Camp, and offers access to prime migration country and year-round big cat sightings. The camp is reached via the Kichwa Tembo airstrip.

The Mara is about five to six hours by road from Nairobi, the last stretch on rough roads. Daily light-aircraft flights from Wilson Airport land at airstrips across the reserve and conservancies in about 45 minutes to an hour.
The Masai Mara is Kenya’s most famous reserve, home to big cats all year and, from about July to October, the Great Migration with its dramatic Mara River crossings.
